Product Description
KYN28A-12 (GZS) indoor metal clad and draw-out switching equipment is a three phase, AC. 50/60Hz indoor complete set of distribution device, suitable for receiving and distributing 3-12kV network power, and control, protection andmonitoring
of the circuits. Various types of micro- comprehensive relay and protection devices can be installed in LV. relay room, and having intelligent control functions of remote control, temperature measurement, remote signal and remote control,and the field
network can be controlled through the CAN bus with communication interface. It also has the function of preventing the misoperation of the circuit breaker, preventing the load pushing and pulling the hand, preventing the electrifiedclosing of the
grounding switch, preventing the grounding switch from sending electricity in the ground position and preventing the error entering the charged interval, that is called "five anti" function for short. The cabinet can be equipped with breakers, such asVM,VD4, 3AF, ZN63
and ZN2V vacuum circuit breakers, or imported VD4 vacuum circuit breakers, 3AF and VC series vacuum contactors.

The products meet following Standards:
1. IEC-298; 2.GB3906-1991; 3. DT404-1997; 4. GB/T11O22-1999.
Operation conditions
◆ Ambient air temperature: the upper limit is +40℃, the lower limit is -10℃in general;
◆ Altitude: Not higher than 1000m;
◆ Temperature:
--- Relative humidity: Daily average value is not greater than 95%, and monthly mean value is not greater than 90%.
--- Steam pressure: Daily average value is not greater than 22KPa, and monthly mean value is not greater than 18KP
Condensation may occur when temperature drops abruptly, accompanied by contamination. This product is suitable for following two environmental conditions which are stricter than normal conditions.
1) Infrequent condensation (no more than two times a month) with mild pollution.
2) Generally there is no serious condensation (no more than two times a year).
◆There is no danger of fire, explosion and serious pollution which is enough to corrode metal and destroy insulation of gas and other adverse places;
◆There is no place with severe vibration, no more than 80 degree of vertical slope.
Note:
1) It is allowed to be stored and transported under -30℃
2) When altitude is over 1000m, it is handled according to " Technical requirements for high-voltage electrical appliances in high altitudes " of JB/2102 standard. When altitude is less than 2000m, low-voltage auxiliary equipment does not need t to take any measurements.
3) when actual use conditions are different from the above, user shall negotiate with manufacturer for design.

Structure and good features
◆Reasonable Structure
The switchgear is composed of a fixed cabinet, a removable part (referred to as a handcart), and enclosure of the switchgear (See structure Fig. 1 & 2). the enclosure of the switchgear and each functional unit are bolted together by several zinc steel plates. Protection level of the enclosure reaches up to IP4X, and protection level of each compartment is IP2X when circuit breaker room’s door open. KYN28A-12 switchgear can be equipped with VSI, or / and ZNI2V vacuum circuit breaker handcart, or/and VD4 vacuum circuit breaker handcart, or/and WC vacuum contactor from ABB company. The switchgear can not only be installed in parallel with two-sided cabinets, and but also can be arranged and installed in one line. Installation and commissioning of switchgear can be carried out from front side, so the switchgear can be also installed closely by wall. Its biggest advantage of wall installation can save floor space, and double-sided arrangement is also possible for easy maintenance. But difference of the two arrangements is different internal structure of switchgears.

◆Enclosure and clap-plate
Enclosure and baffle plates of the switchgear are made of high quality imported aluminum-zinc steel sheet which is processed and bent by numerical control machine tool and is bolted up together. Therefore, the assembled switchgears can keep uniformity of dimension. I It has strong corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and has higher mechanical strength than the same steel plate. The switchgear is divided into handcart room (circuit breaker compartment), bus room, cable room, relay instrument room (low voltage room). Each unit shell can be grounded independently.
◆A Breaker Handcart
Frame of the handcart is made of thin steel plate after being processed by CNC machine and riveted. According to the use, the handcart can be divided into circuit breaker handcart, voltage transformer handcart, isolation handcart, measuring handcart and so on, the same specifications of the handcart can be easily exchanged. The handcart has an isolation position, a test position and a working position in the cabinet. Each position is provided with a positioning device to ensure that the handcart can not move freely when it is above the position, and the interlock must be removed when the handcart is moved.
◆B bus room
The busbar is led from one switchgear to another through a wall sleeve, and the branch busbar and the static contact box are fixed. The flat branch bus is connected to the static contact box through the insulating bolt. The main busbar does not need any wiring clamp or insulator. When the user and the project have special needs, the connecting bolts on the busbar can be encapsulated by insulation and terminal insulation cap. The busbar is fixed by the wall bushing when the busbar passes through the switchboard partition. When an internal fault occurs,the arc is generated, which can limit the spread of the accident to the adjacent cabinet and ensure the mechanical strength of the bus bar.
◆C Cable room
Current transformer, grounding switch, lightning arrester and cable can be installed in the cables room. At bottom of cable room a removable plate with slotting is prepared for to ensuring convenience of site construction.
